Impact rugby had on your life:
Rugby has defined me, as a person, an athlete and in my business career. The lessons of team work, leadership, courage and loyalty have been instilled in me and carried through to very aspect of my life. The game has given me the confidence to know that everything is possible if you apply yourself and never give up and has resulted in life long friendships. The game has allowed me to travel the world and has provided me with memories that will stay with me forever.

Most inspirational teammate/coach and why:
Gary Puterman is the best rugby player and most inspirational player I have ever played with or against. In my opinion he is pound for pound one of the most talented players to ever play the game. What he lacks in size is surpassed by his courage , tenacity , and remarkable skill and speed. He is living proof that rugby is a sport for all and the underlying attributes to be successful in the game are not size, but courage, dedication and skill. I have considered myself luck to have been able to play with him on so many teams, and travelled the word playing with him. He is a pretty good room mate as well.

What wisdom would you pass on to current players:
Apply yourself to be as good as you can be and don't waste the wonderful opportunity of playing. Time is fleeting and before you know it your competitive career will be over. Get as much out of playing as you can. Go on tours, make life long friends and never believe that you are better than you really are. You cannot hide in rugby and your team mates will know . They know if you have given your all, they know if you are courageous, they know if you are just full of hot air. Be true to yourself and you will have a gift of memories that will stay with you forever, well beyond your playing years.

Marital Status (Spouse/Kids names):
Married to Karen who I met in 1988 at the Sanat Barbara Rugby Tournament. I Have three kids Scott , Jamie and Lindsay.

Favorite quote:
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" Wayne Gretsky

Interests:
Touch Rugby, Squash, Horse Riding, Hiking and Coaching Soccer, Watching movies and my kids playing sports.
