Impact rugby had on your life:
I don’t remember when Rugby was not a huge part of my life; I have developed relationships over the world which I maintain to this day.
Most inspirational teammate/coach and why:
My greatest inspiration and pride comes from the Santa Monica Rugby Club, from the extraordinary players that started the club, to the players and administrators who have kept the club functioning at such a high level. Watching the development of Youth rugby and Women’s’ rugby and the continuing great performances is a huge source of pride.
What wisdom would you pass on to current players:
My message to current players is “Enjoy the time when you are
playing, appreciate your teammates and adversaries and maintain
your relationships after you retire from playing the greatest game
on earth”.
Marital Status (Spouse/Kids names):
I am married (Felicity) with 4 children and five grandchildren. My son Duncan played for Santa Monica.
